From childhood, I’ve been a writer. Publicly, privately, academically, recreationally… putting words on paper or processing characters through a keyboard is in my nature.
Writing is my career, but it’s also my means of catharsis. Not all forms of writing are equal, however, and sometimes a gal just wants to casually shoot the breeze without polluting her social media feeds.
Ikigai – it’s not grandiose, nor flamboyant. It’s not my magnum opus. But, it’s me musing on finding meaning in life in my day-to-day life.
Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss
I believe in controlled digital modesty.
You get to know what I want you to know, and nothing more.
I type some thoughts, you read my mewsings. Am I making sense?
A Memoir of Minimal Proportions
My name is Andrea Mew and I’m a female on the internet. I write… probably too much already to justify writing on a glorified journal like this. But here we are.
Professionally, I manage a storytelling program for the greatest (no biases here) women’s policy organization and contribute regularly to Evie Magazine. My beat goes from modern femininity to cultural commentary to health and wellness and beyond.
